History


Founded in 1976, Beyçelik Holding provides world-class services to a diverse customer base ranging from multinational companies to individuals through its subsidiaries in the automotive supply industry, renewable energy, wind turbine tower manufacturing, climate control, scrap metal recycling, and insurance sectors. Beyçelik Holding provides employment opportunities to over 5,000 people through its 26 companies.


Beyçelik, which aims to create added value not only for the economy but also for society through its investments, carries out social responsibility projects in the fields of education and culture. Continuing its efforts to become a reputable global company known for its entrepreneurship and integrity in its focus sectors, Beyçelik has been reporting its sustainability performance in all its activities since 2021.

Establishment

Faik Celik opening its atelier started to make molds for stove industry and then for the automotive industry. Serial component production was started in 1983 for the automotive industry in addition to the molds.

First joint-stock company: Beycelik Otomotiv S.A.

Faik Celik established Beycelik Otomotiv S.A.. At that period, he became the “best sub-industry provider” of Ford in addition to Tofas in a short period with the success recorded in the automotive.

Product range started to enlarge

Faik Celik added “steel panel radiator” to its production line. The production of Celikpan was started under the roof of Beycelik.

First international partner

Faik Celik leaping forward in automotive subsidiary industry established partnership with Italian Emarc.

Holding has been established

Expanding his range of activities, Faik Çelik brought the Çelik Group Companies under the umbrella of Faik Çelik Holding with the aim of consolidating his operations under a corporate structure.

Investing in new sectors

Following the establishment of the holding company, investments in new sectors accelerated. Bursa Çelik Sigorta (Bursa Çelik Sigorta changed its name to Beyçelik Sigorta on 1 September 2020) was established.

Beyçelik Gestamp

Beyçelik Gestamp was established as a result of a partnership with the Spanish company Gestamp.

First investment in the energy sector

Beyçelik Gestamp Renewable Energy (FC Energy) was established through investment in the renewable energy sector. In 2023, the company's name was changed to Bewen Energy due to a change in its partnership structure.

Wind turbine tower production has begun

Gesbey, which operates in the field of wind turbine tower production, was established.

First overseas investment

The Holding, which is advancing on the path to globalisation, made its first overseas investment in Romania with Beyçelik Gestamp, a company operating in the automotive industry.

In 2017, the Holding decided to use the Beyçelik brand, which was the group's first investment and the first brand it created, as the name of the Holding.
